In short
- On adult webtoon stores one episode costs about 32 to 50 cents in coins: Manta, Tappytoon, Lezhin and Lalatoon all land there, and Honeytoon at 22 to 39 euro cents.
- The cheapest memberships are around $4 to $5 a month: Toomics' 12-month VIP on the App Store, Manta Standard and Tappytoon Club.
- Licensed hentai is sold by the book: about $5 to $25 a title at FAKKU and Irodori Comics, or $14.95 for a 30-day FAKKU Unlimited card.
- Toomics, TOPTOON, Honeytoon and FAKKU each hide at least one price behind a login.
- Manta's web Premium is $1 a month cheaper than its app price, and 18+ editions are web-only on most services anyway.
How adult comic platforms charge
Almost every service that sells porn comics, adult webtoons or hentai manga uses one of four money models, and several mix two of them. Knowing which one a service uses tells you most of what it will cost.
Coins, points and Gems per episode
You buy a pack of a platform currency, then spend a set number of units on each locked episode. Lezhin and Honeytoon call them coins, Tappytoon points, Manta Gems, Lalatoon clovers, WEBTOON coins again. The pack price is public on most services. The episode price is set per series, and the dollar figure is something you work out yourself. This is the standard model for Korean adult webtoons.
All-you-can-read memberships
A flat monthly or multi-month fee opens a library. Toomics VIP, the TOPTOON membership, Manta Standard, FAKKU Unlimited and MangaPlaza Premium work this way, and so do the Western members sites Slipshine and Filthy Figments. The catch on most of them is the edge of the library: Toomics' Store titles, some Manta full versions and anything outside FAKKU Unlimited still cost extra.
Coin top-up subscriptions
A monthly plan that mostly pays you currency. Tappytoon Club gives 4,400 points a month for $4.99, WEBTOON Premium gives coins plus bonus coins, and Manta Premium adds 1,420 Gems to the library. These are worth it only if you would buy that much currency anyway.
Buying books to keep
One price, one title, usually a downloadable file. FAKKU sells books and doujinshi this way next to its subscription; Irodori Comics, Iron Circus, Affect3D and itch.io artists sell nothing else. Creator platforms such as Patreon or pixivFANBOX are a fifth model, paying an artist directly each month; they are covered under creator subscriptions.

Cheapest price each service publishes on its own pricing page or store listing, in US dollars. Amounts published only in euros or pounds are converted at the European Central Bank reference rate and marked with a tilde.
What one episode costs on each coin platform
Coin prices only mean something once they are turned into the price of an episode. Where a service publishes both the pack price and the coins per episode, the sum is below. Where it hides one of the two, the row says so.
| Service | Pack used | Per episode | About per episode |
|---|---|---|---|
| Manta | 1,250 Gems for $9.99 | 40 to 50 Gems | $0.32 to $0.40 |
| Tappytoon | 3,900 points for $4.99 (sale pack: 8,800 for $9.99) | 300 points on the title checked | $0.38 ($0.34 on the sale pack) |
| Lalatoon | 25 clovers for $3.99 to 500 for $47.99 (web) | 3 clovers | $0.48 down to $0.29 |
| Lezhin | 400 + 45 coins for $9.99 | 20 coins and up | $0.45 to $0.50 at 20 coins |
| Honeytoon | 700 coins for EUR 29.99 or 2,000 for EUR 49.99 | 9 coins | EUR 0.39 or EUR 0.22 |
| WEBTOON | 10 coins for $0.99 | Set per series, shown in the app | Not published |
| Toomics | Pack sizes not public | 1 to 3 coins | Not computable |
| Kirtu (Savita Bhabhi) | 30 credits for $19.95 a month | 5 credits a comic episode | about $3.33 |
Two sums as examples. On Manta, $9.99 / 1,250 Gems is 0.8 cents a Gem, so a 50-Gem episode is 40 cents. On Lalatoon's largest web pack, $47.99 / 500 clovers is about 9.6 cents a clover, and an episode at 3 clovers is about 29 cents. Kirtu's figure comes from a checkout page seen from the EU; its own home page quotes a different plan.
A 60-episode series at 40 cents an episode costs $24, which is five months of a $4.99 membership. That is the arithmetic to run before choosing between coins and a plan. The detailed version is on subscription vs pay per chapter.

Memberships compared
Monthly prices from official pages and store listings, lowest first where a number is public:
- Toomics VIP: $47.99 for 12 months on the US App Store, about $4.00 a month; single months $8.99 or $9.99.
- Manta Standard: $4.99 a month, or about $4.16 a month on the 12-month plan ($49.90), app only.
- Tappytoon Club Standard: $4.99 a month or $47.99 a year, paid back in 4,400 points a month.
- MangaPlaza Premium: $6.99 a month, US only.
- Manta Premium: $8.99 on the web, $9.99 in the app.
- Slipshine: $29.00 for the first 30 days, then $11.57 every 30 days.
- Filthy Figments: $12.99 a month or $99.95 a year.
- FAKKU Unlimited: recurring price after sign-in only; prepaid cards $14.95 for 30 days.
- TOPTOON and Honeytoon: price after login or sign-up only.
The cheap end is crowded with Korean webtoon libraries; the Western members sites and FAKKU sit at $11 to $15. Per-service detail: Toomics VIP prices, Manta's plans and Gems, Tappytoon points and Club, FAKKU Unlimited cards, TOPTOON Plus membership and Honeytoon coins and plans.
The cheapest ways in
Every webtoon service here gives away the start of a series, and the hentai stores give away a little. How far the free part goes differs a lot.
- Free first episodes: Toomics gives the first three chapters, Honeytoon a prologue and a few episodes, TOPTOON about four after login, Lezhin up to nine on some titles.
- Timed free episodes: Tappytoon's Time Till Free (one episode every 24 hours, every 12 with Club), Manta's Free Pass on 400+ titles (one episode every 24 hours, open for 72), Lalatoon's coupon 72 hours after each read, WEBTOON's Ad Pass (open 3 days).
- Free hentai: FAKKU puts one title a week up free, and Irodori Comics has about 14 free titles.
- Free mainstream reading: WEBTOON Originals are free weekly, but WEBTOON bans explicit content, so it is a free option for mature romance, not porn comics.
For paid reading at the lowest price, three routes stand out. Tappytoon Club at $4.99 works out to about 28 to 34 cents an episode on a 300-point title. Toomics' 12-month VIP on the App Store is about $4 a month for the whole VIP catalog. Lalatoon's 500-clover web pack brings an episode to about 29 cents. More on the free side is on free adult webtoons and free vs paid adult comics platforms.
Coins vs subscriptions vs buying books
Coins suit readers who follow two or three series closely. You pay only for what you open, and on several services the purchase lasts: Toomics says coin-bought chapters are like owning a digital copy, and Manta keeps Gem-unlocked series in your library even if the series leaves Manta
. The risk is drift. Thirty cents an episode adds up fast on a long series, and most coin purchases cannot be refunded once you spend a single coin.
Subscriptions suit readers who sample widely. A membership caps the monthly cost, and on Toomics or the TOPTOON site it is the main way the catalog is sold. You keep nothing when you stop paying, and the plan renews until you cancel.
Buying books suits hentai readers who want files. FAKKU's purchased books download as PDF or zip at up to 3200 pixels tall, and Irodori sells DRM-free PDFs. A 63-page FAKKU doujin at $8.50 is about 13.5 cents a page, and it stays on your drive after any subscription ends. Irodori's prices run from $5.25 to $14.95 for single doujinshi, with "99¢ Monthly Deals". FAKKU vs Irodori compares the two stores.
One warning applies to coins on any service that might close. Tapas, which sells mature premium webtoons for Ink, ends service on March 31, 2027; Ink stopped being sold on October 1, 2026, remaining Ink is not refunded, and unlocked episodes become inaccessible when the service closes. The details are in Tapas shutting down. Coins buy reading rights on one platform, and they end with it.
Website vs App Store and Google Play prices
Where a service sells on both, the prices are not always the same, and neither is the catalog.
- Manta prints the difference: Premium is $9.99 a month in the app and $8.99 on Manta Web, and a Premium member's $9.99 Gem bundle holds 1,500 Gems on the web against 1,420 in the app.
- Lezhin's Android PLUS app, downloaded from its own site, promises
Save Up to 26% on Coins Daily
against the store build. - Lalatoon keeps web and app coins in separate wallets that
you cannot combine
. - WEBTOON sells coins only in its apps, and Tappytoon sells Club only through the stores.
- Toomics, Lezhin and Tappytoon show their store prices publicly and hide the web shop behind a login, so the store list is often the only price you can read.
The catalog split matters as much as the price. Apple's guideline 1.1.4 bans overtly sexual or pornographic material
in apps, and the services follow it: Toomics, Tappytoon and Manta keep their 18+ editions on the website, and Lezhin offers them only on the web and in the Android PLUS app. Honeytoon, TOPTOON and FAKKU have no store app at all. A reader who subscribes in the App Store usually reads the adult titles in a browser regardless, so check the web price first.
One rule works in favor of store buyers. Apple's guideline 3.1.1 says currency bought through in-app purchase may not expire
. Web-bought coins follow the service's own terms: Honeytoon's current terms give coins 12 months, Lalatoon's paid clovers last 5 years and bonus clovers 1 year, and MangaPlaza's purchased points expire after 36 months.
Renewals and how to cancel
Every membership here renews automatically. The route out depends on where you paid, and a few services make it awkward:
| Service | How to cancel |
|---|---|
| Toomics | Account Settings on the web, or the App Store / Google Play if bought there |
| Manta | Where you paid, at least 24 hours before renewal |
| Tappytoon Club | The App Store or Google Play subscription page |
| WEBTOON Premium | The App Store or Google Play subscription page |
| TOPTOON | Profile settings, or email cs_global@toptoon.com |
| Honeytoon | Email contact@honeytoon.com at least 24 hours before renewal |
| FAKKU Unlimited | Subscription Settings, Cancel Subscription, the only route |
| MangaPlaza | Website only: My Account, Cancel Premium Membership |
| Slipshine | Through CCBill support or by emailing Slipshine |
For store subscriptions, Apple's route is Settings, your name, Subscriptions, then Cancel Subscription. Google's is the Play subscriptions page, then Cancel subscription; Google adds that uninstalling an app does not cancel it and that access runs to the end of the paid period. Toomics adds a twist of its own: a "Free Month" offered at cancellation hides the cancel button for two to three weeks and then renews. Step-by-step help is in how to cancel a comic subscription, and the mechanics of renewals are in how comic subscriptions work.

Refunds
Most purchases on these services are final. The exceptions:
- Toomics: VIP within 14 days if no VIP content was read; coins within 7 days if none were used.
- Lezhin and Lalatoon: coins within 7 days if none of the purchase was used.
- FAKKU: digital books within 3 days if not downloaded; Unlimited never; sale items final.
- Honeytoon: a Voluntary Refund can be requested within 120 days of a payment.
- Tappytoon, Manta, TOPTOON and MangaPlaza: no refunds.
Store purchases add the store's own process: WEBTOON sends refund requests for unspent purchases to Apple and Google, and Google says some purchases may qualify.
Prices you can only see after logging in
Several services make you register before showing the full price list. On these the numbers on our pages are what the public can verify, and nothing more:
- Toomics: web VIP and coin prices, and how many coins the App Store packages hold.
- Lezhin and Tappytoon: the web coin and point shops.
- TOPTOON: every membership price.
- Honeytoon: subscription and Ultra plan prices, and coin packs in US dollars.
- FAKKU: the recurring Unlimited fee.
When a price is hidden, the safe move is to start with the shortest plan and turn renewal off until you have seen what the account shows.
Pricing pages by service

What is the cheapest adult comics subscription?
Among published prices, Toomics' 12-month VIP at $47.99 on the US App Store (about $4 a month), Manta Standard at $4.99 a month and Tappytoon Club at $4.99 a month.
Are coins or subscriptions cheaper?
Coins are cheaper if you follow a few series; a membership is cheaper once you read more than about a dozen paid episodes a month at 40 cents each.
Is it cheaper to subscribe on the website or in the app?
On Manta, yes: Premium is $8.99 on the web and $9.99 in the app. Most other services do not publish both prices, and 18+ editions are usually web-only anyway.

Only on a few services and only if no coins were spent: within 7 days on Lezhin, Lalatoon and Toomics. Tappytoon, Manta and TOPTOON give no refunds.
How do I cancel an adult comics subscription?
Where you paid: the service's account settings for web purchases, the App Store or Google Play subscription page for store purchases. Honeytoon needs an email at least 24 hours before renewal.
