Toomics price: VIP and coins

What you pay for Toomics

Toomics sells two things: a VIP Membership that opens the subscription catalog, and coins that buy single chapters. Most readers end up with VIP, because the help center says plainly that there is no way for users to read our content for free or to get our VIP Memberships / Coins for free beyond the opening chapters.

The prices below are the US App Store's in-app purchase list. The web price page redirects logged-out visitors, so these are the only Toomics prices anyone can read without signing up.

The list is messy. Two items are both called "1 Month", at $8.99 and $9.99, and a third row labelled in Spanish ("1 mes") is $7.99. "3 Months" also appears twice, at $17.49 and $23.99. Apple's page does not say which rows are current offers and which are leftovers, so treat $8.99 to $9.99 as the one-month range.

The longer plans are where the Toomics price drops. Divided out:

• 12 Months: $47.99 / 12 = about $4.00 a month
• 6 Months: $29.49 / 6 = about $4.92 a month
• 3 Months: $17.49 / 3 = about $5.83 a month (or $8.00 a month on the $23.99 row)

A year up front costs less than half of what twelve single months would. You also commit for the year, and the refund window described below is short.

What VIP includes, and what it does not

VIP gives unlimited access to our available webtoons without purchasing Coins in the SUBSCRIBE section, reading without ads, and 5 free Gift Coins a month. Those Gift Coins expire at the end of the month, so spend them.

VIP does not cover the TOOMICS STORE. Store titles are a separate shelf that only takes coins, even for members. The terms also say the VIP catalog will vary by geographic location, so the same plan can open a different list depending on where you read.

How Toomics coins work

The help center says Each chapter costs between 1 to 3 Coins, depending on its length and content. A chapter bought with coins stays in your account; Toomics compares it to owning a digital copy. A "Purchase All Episodes" button buys every available chapter of a series at once.

Coins come in three kinds. Premium coins (bought) and Bonus coins never expire. Gift Coins, the five a month that come with VIP, do expire. Coins can also be turned into GEM for the Toomics Chat feature at 1 coin to 200 GEM.

The dollar cost of one chapter cannot be worked out from official numbers. The App Store sells "Get Coin Package 2" for $9.99 and "Get Coin Package 3" for $19.99 but does not say how many coins either holds, and the web coin page needs an account. What the arithmetic does show is the value of the VIP Gift Coins: 5 coins cover between one chapter (at 3 coins) and five chapters (at 1 coin) of Store titles each month.

What is free on Toomics

The first three chapters of a series are free, and sometimes there can be more chapters available. The site also hands out gift-box Free Passes on some adult series and runs sign-up promotions. After that, a chapter needs VIP or coins.

There is no free trial. The help center says a trial is not possible without having purchased at least one of the VIP Membership plans. The "Free Month" you may see is something else, covered under cancelling.

Website vs App Store and Google Play

The App Store and Google Play apps are all-ages builds, rated 12+ and 13+. Toomics says it is unable to support any kind of adult content within our app due to the policies of both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, so the 18+ series live on the website only, with Family Safe mode switched off after an 18+ confirmation that appears to need an account.

That matters for pricing because the store list is the only public price, while the adult catalog is on the web. Toomics does not state on a public page whether the web VIP price matches the App Store's. Log in and open the payment page before choosing where to pay.

Readers in Singapore, Korea, Japan, Malaysia and Indonesia are told to contact Toomics directly for age verification before they can read 18+ titles. Sort that out before paying.

Renewal and how to cancel Toomics VIP

VIP renews automatically. A May 2026 terms notice says VIP membership is automatically charged to your Payment Method every month. Where you cancel depends on where you paid:

1. Bought on the website: log in, open Account Settings and click "Cancel VIP Membership". Toomics support can also cancel a web subscription by hand.
2. Bought on an iPhone: Apple's route is Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Toomics, Cancel Subscription. Toomics support cannot cancel iOS subscriptions for you.
3. Bought on Android: open the Google Play subscriptions page, pick Toomics and choose Cancel subscription. Google notes that uninstalling the app does not cancel it.

The general steps for other services are in how to cancel a comic subscription.

Refunds

Toomics refunds a VIP purchase within 14 days, and only if no VIP content was opened. Coins can be refunded within 7 days of purchase if none of them were used. Purchases made through the App Store go to Apple, not Toomics.

One VIP chapter read ends the refund right, so check the catalog with the free chapters first.

How to pay less on Toomics

• Take the 12-month plan if you know you will stay: about $4.00 a month against $8.99 to $9.99 for single months, on the App Store list.
• Spend the 5 monthly Gift Coins before they expire. Bought coins have no deadline, so there is no reason to buy more than you need for the titles in front of you.
• Read the free chapters and use any Free Passes before paying, since reading VIP content cancels the 14-day refund.
• Skip VIP if you only follow TOOMICS STORE titles. They are coin-only either way.

What needs an account to see

The web VIP and coin prices, the size of each coin package, and the 18+ catalog itself all sit behind a login. Everything on this page comes from the App Store list and the Toomics help center, which anyone can read.

For the service itself, read our Toomics review. If you are weighing it against a coin store, Toomics vs Lezhin sets the VIP model beside pay-per-episode, Toomics vs TOPTOON compares two memberships, and Lalatoon vs Toomics covers the sister service that sells episodes for clovers. Toomics alternatives lists other options, and every service's prices are on the adult comics pricing page.
