How Honeytoon charges

Honeytoon sells two things: coins that unlock single episodes, and a Premium Membership that gives unlimited access to webtoons for the duration of your subscription period. The site is browser-only, with no app on the App Store or Google Play, so there is no store price list to fall back on. Plan prices sit on a payment page behind sign-up.

What a logged-out visitor can see, from an EU connection, is below. Prices were in euros.

Both packs are half bonus: 350 coins plus 350 bonus, and 1,000 plus 1,000. They appeared inside the purchase window for animated scenes. Other packs, and prices in US dollars, need an account.

What one Honeytoon episode costs

The coin side is simpler than most. Every locked episode on the six series checked, Teach Me First! among them, shows a price of 9 coins.

• 700-coin pack: EUR 29.99 / 700 = about 4.3 euro cents a coin, so 9 coins = about EUR 0.39
• 2,000-coin pack: EUR 49.99 / 2,000 = 2.5 euro cents a coin, so 9 coins = about EUR 0.22

The site labels the second pack "EUR 0.02 per coin", which rounds 2.5 cents down. On the big pack, a 50-episode series costs 450 coins, about EUR 11.25.

Animated scenes are sold separately. On Teach Me First!, "Unlock All Animated Scenes" costs 440 coins, about EUR 11.00 on the 2,000-coin pack or EUR 18.85 on the 700-coin pack.

Subscriptions and the Ultra plans

The FAQ says a subscription will automatically renew on the same date every 4 weeks (or every 1, 12 or 24 weeks, depending on your plan). No plan price is public. A pop-up seen from the EU read "Unlock all our content only 7.99 per week!" with "regular price 13.49 per month" in small print, and no currency sign on either figure.

The default reading copy is the censored one. Uncensored versions are the upsell: one modal says Uncensored content available on "Ultra" plans, another says uncensored content is available only with tokens. What Ultra costs over the standard plan is not shown without an account. Ratings are a premium perk too; only premium accounts can rate a comic.

Do Honeytoon coins expire?

Honeytoon's own pages disagree. The payment policy and terms, both updated May 14, 2026, say coins are valid for 12 months and cap a balance at the equivalent of USD 500. The FAQ still says Coins have no time limit and can be used at any moment. The newer documents are the binding ones, so plan on 12 months.

What is free

The first episodes of each series are free. On Teach Me First! that is the Prologue and episodes 1 to 3; the count varies. After that the page reads You need a VIP Membership or coins to read beyond this point. Whether the free episodes need an account was not tested. There is no free trial on the public pages.

Web only

Honeytoon has no official app. The US App Store does list an app named "Honeytoon: Comics,Manga,Novel", but it is published by an unrelated developer, Guangxi Xianying. Coins and plans bought there are not Honeytoon's. Pay on honeytoon.com.

The age gate is a click-through question in most places. Where local law requires it, the site switches to an ID check run by Yoti, and refusing leaves you on the under-18 catalog.

Renewal and how to cancel Honeytoon

The terms say a subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it prior to the next billing date. There is no button for it.

1. Write to contact@honeytoon.com and ask to cancel the subscription. Sending it from the address on your account makes it easier to match.
2. Send it at least 24 hours before the current period ends. The payment policy sets that deadline.
3. Keep the reply. With weekly plans, a late email can mean one more charge.

Refunds

The payment policy says fees for products or coins are non-refundable, except where otherwise required by applicable law. It also allows a request for a Voluntary Refund within 120 calendar days after your payment, by email, decided by Honeytoon. In the EU, the terms add that a subscription cancelled within the withdrawal period may be refunded in proportion.

How to pay less on Honeytoon

• The 2,000-coin pack roughly halves the price of an episode against the 700-coin pack (EUR 0.22 against EUR 0.39).
• Do not buy more coins than you will use in a year, since the current terms give them a 12-month life.
• Read the free episodes first, and only pay for Ultra if the uncensored version is the reason you are there.
• On a weekly plan, email the cancellation as soon as you decide, not on the last day.

What needs an account to see
