Honeytoon Review

What Honeytoon is

Honeytoon is an adult webtoon site at honeytoon.com, run by Honeytech Ltd, a Cyprus company, together with Honeytech HK Limited. It publishes full-color vertical webtoons: Korean-style adult series alongside Chinese action and fantasy titles. The site title says "Manga & Manhwa Comics", but no Japanese manga catalog shows up on it. Its terms require every user to be at least 18.

The catalog is owned or licensed. The content policy says All content available on the Site is owned by HONEYTOON or its licensors and HONEYTOON is not a user-generated content platform. Honeytoon gives no title count and no launch date. The interface runs in English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Chinese, with a Japanese edition at /jp that is missing from the visible switcher. It is one of the explicit services in our platform directory.

Who Honeytoon suits

Readers who want explicit adult webtoons on a laptop or a phone browser and do not care about an app. The genre menu is blunter than the licensed manhwa stores: after the 18+ click it shows Romance, Detective, Action, Office, Thriller, Drama, In-Law, Cheating, University, MILF, Harem, Spin-Off and Fantasy, and a separate Uncensored section in the main navigation.

It is a poor fit for anyone who wants to see prices before signing up, read offline, or cancel with a button. All three are covered below.

Adult content and the uncensored upsell

Honeytoon is an explicit site. What it sells on top is the uncensored copy. Series with an uncensored version carry an "UNCENS+" badge, and the site's own pop-ups say how to reach it: Uncensored content available on "Ultra" plans, and in another place, Uncensored content available only with TOKENS. The version you read by default is the censored one.

That structure matters for the money. A reader who buys coins to get past the free episodes is paying for the censored copy; the uncensored one costs a higher plan. Honeytoon does not publish the Ultra price outside the payment page. Readers who mainly want uncensored work in this format can compare it with Tappytoon's [Uncut] editions, described further down. How censorship of adult comics works in general, mosaics included, is in our mosaic censorship explainer.

Honeytoon also sells animated scenes for some series with coins. On "Teach Me First!" an "Unlock All Animated Scenes" bundle costs 440 coins.

Age verification: a click, or Yoti

What the gate looks like depends on where you are. Seen from an EU connection, the site shows a plain modal: Are you over the age of 18? You need to confirm that you are over the age of 18 to read adult content. Without that click, the site offers "Browse 18- Content" and hides the adult genres.

In regions whose law requires more, Honeytoon switches to an ID check run by Yoti. The site's text reads Due to local regulations in your region, we are required to verify your age before granting access to mature content. and Verification is secure and handled by Yoti. We do not store your ID data. Honeytoon does not list which regions get the Yoti flow, so expect it if your country has an age-verification law for adult sites. Refusing leaves you on the under-18 catalog.

What is free on Honeytoon

The first episodes of each series. On "Teach Me First!" the Prologue and Episodes 1 to 3 are marked Free; the count varies by series. After that the reader sees You need a VIP Membership or coins to read beyond this point. Whether the free episodes need an account was not tested. The site shows no free trial and no timed free episodes, which puts Honeytoon behind the stores on our free adult webtoons list for a reader on no budget.

Honeytoon coins: what an episode costs

Coins unlock single episodes. Six series pages were checked, "Teach Me First!" among them, and every locked episode on them showed 9 coins. A flat price makes the sums easy.

The packs are harder. Only two were visible without an account, from an EU connection and inside the animated-scenes purchase window, priced in euros:

• once700 coins (350 + 350 bonus)~$34700 coins; shown as 'SAVE 50%', 'EUR 0.04 per coin'; seen from an EU IP in the animated-scenes modal↗
• once2000 coins (1000 + 1000 bonus)~$562000 coins; shown as 'SAVE 70%', 'EUR 0.02 per coin'; seen from an EU IP in the animated-scenes modal↗

Source: honeytoon.com. Prices change with region, promotions and the store you buy through.

So a 50-episode series past its free opening costs 450 coins: about EUR 19 at the 700-coin rate, or about EUR 11 at the 2,000-coin rate. The plans table above converts the euro prices to dollars at the reference rate. Smaller packs and US dollar prices need an account to see.

Check coin expiry before buying the big pack. The payment policy and terms, both updated May 14, 2026, say coins are valid for 12 months; the FAQ still says Coins have no time limit and can be used at any moment. Go by the newer policy.

Subscriptions and the Ultra plans

Honeytoon's FAQ calls the subscription Premium Membership and says it offers unlimited access to webtoons for the duration of your subscription period. Plans renew every 4 weeks (or every 1, 12 or 24 weeks, depending on your plan), and the membership covers every language edition. Uncensored versions need an Ultra plan, and only premium accounts can rate comics.

Prices only appear on the payment page after sign-up. A promotional pop-up seen from the EU read Unlock all our content only 7.99 per week!* *regular price 13.49 per month, with no currency sign. At 7.99 a week, four weeks cost more than the 13.49 "regular" monthly price, so read the small print on whichever plan the page offers you.

Cancelling and refunds

There is no cancel button. The payment policy says: To cancel, please send a cancellation email to contact@honeytoon.com at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Subscriptions renew automatically until that email arrives. Send it from the address on the account and keep the reply. General advice for this kind of setup is in how to cancel a comic subscription.

Refunds are mostly refused. Fees for products or coins are non-refundable, except where otherwise required by applicable law, but you may submit a request for a Voluntary Refund within 120 calendar days after your payment. Under the terms, a subscription cancelled within the EU withdrawal period may get a refund reduced in proportion to use.

Honeytoon app: there is none

• ✗iPhoneNono app from Honeytech
• ✗AndroidNono app from Honeytech
• ✓BrowserYesbrowser only

Honeytech has no app on the App Store or Google Play and links no APK on the site. The US App Store does list an app named "Honeytoon: Comics,Manga,Novel"; it is sold by Guangxi Xianying Network Technology Co., Ltd., not by Honeytech, and has nothing to do with honeytoon.com. Use the website, and add it to your home screen if you want an icon. Our adult comic site safety guide covers name-alike apps.

Offline reading is not possible: Currently, our website does not support offline mode. The content policy also bans downloading content outside permitted use. Reading activity shows in "Recently Read", and series can be saved to "Favorites".

Privacy and billing

Honeytoon does not publish its billing descriptor, so we cannot say what the card charge is called. There is no store privacy card to quote since there is no app. The cookie banner mentions marketing cookies.

Content rules and creators

Honeytoon's content policy covers piracy and user conduct, not themes in the comics. Its terms, content policy, FAQ and payment policy carry no statement that all characters are adults. The "University" genre is a campus setting with adult students.

It is not a place to publish. The "become an author" page only takes story ideas (If your idea is chosen, you'll get credit and a special prize!). Readers can tip, though: series pages carry a button reading Send a tip 100% tips goes to the creators. How tipping works across services is on tipping comic creators.

Pros and cons

Honeytoon alternatives

For explicit Korean adult webtoons on a subscription, Toomics is the long-running option: one VIP plan, chapters at 1 to 3 coins for its coin-only titles, and the 18+ series on the website. TOPTOON Plus dropped coins altogether for a membership, with free first episodes after login and cancelling from profile settings, which is easier than Honeytoon's email. If the uncensored copy is the point, Tappytoon labels its unabridged editions [Uncut] on the series title, so you know what you are buying before you pay, at about 38 cents an episode on its $4.99 pack. Manta suits a reader who wants an app as well, with downloads, and its 18+ "[Full ver.]" editions in the browser. More options are on NSFW webtoons.
