In short

  • Filthy Figments charges $12.99 a month, or $99.95 a year on sale (regular price $156.00). That is about $8.33 a month on the annual plan.
  • You cancel in My Account under Subscriptions, and access runs to the end of the period you paid for.
  • Card statements show "CCBILL*StrawberryC", a descriptor the site itself calls discreet.

What Filthy Figments is

Filthy Figments publishes original erotic comics by contracted creators on a subscription site. The operator named in the footer is Strawberry Comics LLC, with a PO box in Fellsmere, Florida. The About page dates the start to June 1, 2010, when the site launched with just six artists, one hundred pages in our archive. It now claims dozens of published creators and an archive of more than 15,000 pages.

The About page also sets out what the site is for. Its stories explore subjects like gender, queerness, and body image, and it describes its approach as maintaining a focus on female and queer experiences. One line on that page sets it apart from Affect3D, whose store now sells AI-made work next to 3D renders: NO A.I. was used in any stage of the creation of the comics or art published on our site.

Who it suits

Filthy Figments suits readers who want erotic comics with plots and recurring characters, written with queer and women readers in mind, in an archive they can browse for one fee. Anyone who wants AI-free work has it in writing here. It suits less well someone who wants to own files, since this is a reading membership, or who expects an app.

The Filthy Figments archive

The home page claims 200+ Original Erotic Comics titles, over 15000 pages from 50+ creators. The About page promises 50+ new pages guaranteed every month, and the newest pages on the home page are dated October 31, 2026. All of it is original western comics in English, with no manga, webtoons or doujinshi.

The genre filter on the home page is the site's search. It mixes themes and pairings. Theme entries include:

  • BDSM
  • Contemporary
  • Fantasy and Mythology
  • Humor
  • Period Piece
  • Polyamory
  • Sci-Fi, Superhero and Supernatural

Pairing tags sit next to them: F x F, M x M, TransF x M and others. A Free Comics entry in the same filter pulls out what non-members can read. The list fits the About page's claim to cover "a variety of artistic styles, genres, sexualities, genders, kinks, and fetishes". For a wider view of erotic comics beyond this one site, see our erotic comics overview.

What is free

A Free Comics Sampler and the Free Comics filter are open without an account. They show the range of artists and styles. The archive, which is where most of the 15,000 pages sit, needs a membership. Other free starting points are collected on the free adult comics sites list.

How much Filthy Figments costs

The membership page lists two plans in US dollars:

Source: filthyfigments.com. Prices change with region, promotions and the store you buy through.

The annual price is shown as Original price was: $156.00. Current price is: $99.95. / year. The arithmetic decides which plan is worth it. Twelve monthly payments come to $155.88. At the sale price the year costs $99.95, about $8.33 a month, so you save $55.93 over paying monthly. At the regular $156.00, the annual plan would cost 12 cents more than a year of monthly payments and lock you in for nothing. The page does not say when the sale ends, so if you want the annual plan, the current price is the one to take.

There is no free trial. Both plans include the new monthly comics and the whole archive: the page promises new erotic comics every month along with access to the Exclusive Archive.

Cancelling and renewal

Both plans renew automatically. Cancelling is in your hands: in My Account, open Subscriptions, choose View, then Cancel. The membership page explains what happens next: Access continues until the prepaid term ends, turning fully cancelled on the next billing date. Members who joined under the older billing setup cancel through CCBill's consumer support instead.

We did not find a refund policy on the About, membership or home pages. Assume a payment is not refundable unless the site tells you otherwise. Other sites' cancel routes are compared in how to cancel a comic subscription.

Billing, privacy and the age check

The membership page says your billing info will show a discreet charge from "CCBILL*StrawberryC". The descriptor names the billing company and a shortened form of Strawberry Comics, and neither part refers to erotic comics or Filthy Figments.

The age check is a pop-up: You must be 18 years or older to continue browsing this website. Are you at least 18 years old? with a Yes button. That is a self-declaration and nothing more. Filthy Figments publishes no content policy, and unlike Slipshine it prints no statement about characters' ages. Its genre and pairing filters are the only published description of what the archive contains.

Pages also carry an internal "YOUR AD HERE" slot, the site's own ad space.

Reading on a phone

Filthy Figments has no app for iPhone or Android. The site runs on WordPress with the Toocheke webcomic theme, which the site describes as mobile-friendly, so members read in a phone browser. The site publishes nothing about downloads or offline reading.

For creators

The creators page lists the artists Filthy Figments has published, but we found no open submission terms and no published pay rates. Artists who want to sell erotic comics under their own terms can compare options on the best platforms for adult comic creators.

Filthy Figments or Slipshine?

These two are the obvious pair: both are long-running members archives of original erotic comics with a queer-friendly catalog, both bill through CCBill, and both are read in a browser. They differ on cost, on how you leave, and on what they put in writing.

For a first year, Filthy Figments on the sale annual plan costs about $56 less than Slipshine, and its exit is easier. Slipshine has the bigger archive by its own count, updates daily, and is the one of the two that states its characters are adults. After the first year Slipshine's $11.57 every 30 days is cheaper than Filthy Figments' monthly $12.99, though not cheaper than its sale annual price.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Cancel from your own account page, with access to the end of the paid term
  • A descriptor that does not name the site
  • A written promise that no AI was used in the comics or art
  • Running since 2010, with a free sampler and 50+ new pages a month promised

Cons

  • The $99.95 annual price is a sale; the regular $156.00 saves nothing over monthly
  • No published refund policy or content policy
  • No statement on characters' ages, unlike Slipshine
  • No app and no downloads

Alternatives to Filthy Figments

  • Slipshine is the nearest match: an erotic webcomics archive since 2001, LGBTQ-friendly, with daily updates and a written 18+ characters statement. Its first 30 days cost $29.00, then $11.57 every 30 days, and cancelling goes through CCBill or email.
  • Iron Circus Comics sells queer-friendly erotic graphic novels and the Smut Peddler anthologies as DRM-free PDFs, for readers who would rather own a few books than rent an archive.
  • Kirtu sells its own Indian adult comics, Savita Bhabhi first, for $99.95 a year.
  • On Patreon you pay individual erotic comic artists directly, one creator at a time.

A ranked list with criteria is on the best erotic comics platforms page, and all reviewed services are on the platforms hub.

Final verdict

Verdict

Filthy Figments is a straightforward erotic comics membership with a simpler exit than Kirtu or Slipshine: a cancel button in your own account. Take the annual plan only while it is $99.95, read the free sampler first, and know that the site publishes no refund policy and no content policy beyond its genre filter.
