Free adult comics sites for mature reading

INKR carries manga, manhua and webtoons from many publishers in one app. Its pricing icons mark titles as FREE, COIN, CROWN (rentable with Ink, free for INKR Extra members), CROWN with a timer, or a discount tag, and the help page puts it plainly: free accounts support creators by reading with ads. Ink is earned from tasks, and it rents chapters. A Free to Read section collects the free titles.

The Mature section opens with an 18+ click-through ("I'm over 18 year old and willing to proceed") and then a sign-in page, so we could not see what is inside; the gate itself warns that content may contain violence, sex, nudity or strong language. If you want to skip ads or the rental timers, INKR Extra costs $4.99 a month on iOS, and coins run 32 for $1.99, about 6.2 cents each. The membership page says "Try for FREE" without stating how long or whether a card is needed. GlobalComix bought INKR in March 2026, by press report.

WEBTOON's ORIGINALS are free on a weekly schedule, CANVAS is free, and the newest episodes of many series sit behind Fast Pass coins. Some locked episodes open through Ad Pass: watch ads, and the episode stays open for 3 days. Many Fast Pass episodes turn free after a set period. WEBTOON removed its Daily Pass in May 2025, according to press coverage, so the wait now runs through Ad Pass or coins.

Coins exist only in the app. The US App Store ladder works out to 9.9 cents a coin at the smallest pack (10 coins for $0.99) and about 9.1 cents at 300 plus 30 bonus for $29.99; WEBTOON does not publish a coins-per-episode figure outside the app. Free reading of ordinary series needs no account; Mature series do, and they stay locked for under-18 accounts based on the birthdate entered at sign-up. What the site will not host is nudity, mosaics and box censoring included, so the Mature label here means strong themes. See adult webtoons for the platforms that go further.

BookWalker, KADOKAWA's English ebook store, has a Free Reads collection described as free-to-read stories, plus free chapters, and it does not run a subscription. Coins are cheap to do arithmetic on: 99 coins cost $0.99 and 4,999 cost $49.99, one cent a coin.

Mature titles are hidden until you switch them on in a content-restrictions page that requires a sign-in, and the setting is enabled per device. The terms say the service is not intended for people under 18. The Mature tag also covers mainstream series (Jujutsu Kaisen is the file's example), and we saw no hentai section, so treat it as a mature-manga shelf. iOS and Android apps both exist, and Android is rated for ages 13 and up on Google Play.

GlobalComix hosts free comics and free preview pages. Creators choose whether to charge, and paid pages need a Gold subscription: $6.99 a month or $69.00 a year, with a 7-day trial on the yearly plan that takes a card. The App Store listing is rated 17+, Google Play says Mature 17+, and browse pages show Safe Mode as active with an Advisory Flags filter.

It is not a porn site. The FAQ says explicitly sexual stories, hentai included, are not accepted; nudity is allowed when it is not in the context of sex acts. How Safe Mode is turned off, and whether that asks for an age, needs an account and was not checked. It fits a reader who wants adult themes in a free indie library.

Tapas calls most of its series free, and its Mature section holds explicit premium titles, available on the website only for readers 18 and older who log in and enter a birthdate. In the app, Wait Until Free timers open one episode per timer for 72 hours, and watching an ad unlocks up to three episodes a day. A Free Access subtab lists premium series free from start to finish.

The warning is the closing date. Kakao Entertainment announced on September 22, 2026 that Tapas ends service on March 31, 2027 at 23:59 PT. Ink could not be bought after October 1, 2026, leftover Ink works until the end, unlocked episodes stop being readable, and Ink is non-refundable. Details are in our note on the Tapas shutdown. Reading on the free tier is fine for the next few months; do not buy Ink.

WebComics is a licensed manhua and manhwa app with Gem-unlocked chapters. Early chapters are readable on the website with no login, and the app adds daily free reads and giveaway events, though the site states that the complete comic can only be read in the app. It is rated 12+ in the stores and has no adult section.

It appears here because some creator Originals are marketed with mature themes on pages that have no age gate. Treat it as romance and action with an edge, and not as an adult service.

MangaToon releases different free comics every week, hands out points and vouchers for weekly tasks, and unlocks chapters when you watch a short video. Many comics still charge an unlocking fee. Episode lists and early episodes are public on its website, and no age prompt appears on the home, genre or title pages.

The store builds are rated 12+ and the terms forbid obscene user content, so the mature ceiling is low. It makes the list for volume and ad unlocks, and little else.
