Mature-rated, not explicit. GlobalComix carries publisher catalogues (Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, IDW and Kodansha channels) next to self-published indie comics and manga, and its content policy refuses any comic whose premise is pornographic or that shows graphic sex. The FAQ names hentai as not accepted. Nudity is allowed when it is not part of a sex scene, and the iOS app is rated 17+.

Gold costs $6.99 a month or $69.00 a year, which is $5.75 a month, and the yearly plan has a 7-day trial that takes a card up front. The site says Gold covers more than 100,000 titles. Free comics and free preview pages need no membership; paid pages do. Gold members can download unlocked collections for offline reading, and you cancel under Account Settings, Subscriptions. Browse pages start in Safe Mode, and how to switch it off was not visible without an account.

Press coverage says GlobalComix bought INKR in March 2026; we have not read GlobalComix's own announcement. The platform's own page is GlobalComix reviewed.

Mature-rated, not explicit. WEBTOON has a Mature (18+) rating, and its Content Guidelines are blunt about the limit: sexual themes and discussion are allowed, but full or partial nudity and explicit sex are not, and box or mosaic censoring is banned too. Mature series are locked for accounts whose birthdate puts them under 18, and that birthdate is self-declared at sign-up.

Reading is free on a weekly schedule, with the newest episodes behind Fast Pass. Coins work in the app only, not on the website. The ladder runs from 10 coins for $0.99 (9.9 cents a coin) to 300 plus 30 bonus coins for $29.99 (about 9.1 cents), and the price of a Fast Pass episode is set per series and shown only before you unlock it. WEBTOON Premium starts at $3.99 a month for 20 coins plus 2 bonus, with no episode discount on that plan. Cancelling goes through the App Store or Google Play, not WEBTOON.

Mature-rated; whether the Mature shelf is explicit could not be checked. INKR gates that shelf behind an 18+ click-through and a sign-in, and the gate warns of violence, sex, nudity, or strong language. Its terms ban user uploads that promote sexually explicit or pornographic material. The apps are rated 13+ on iOS and Google Play.

Free accounts read with ads. Coins on iOS run 32 for $1.99 up to 1,600 for $99.99, about 6.2 cents a coin at every size, and INKR Extra is $4.99 a month on iOS for ad-free reading, rentable chapters and offline downloads. The terms call all fees non-refundable. The library size is not published.

Mature-rated; no hentai section turned up. BookWalker is KADOKAWA's English ebook store, and it hides titles tagged Mature until you switch them on in account settings while signed in. The tag also covers mainstream series such as Jujutsu Kaisen, so the shelf is wider than the word suggests. The terms say the service is not aimed at anyone under 18.

There is no subscription. Coins cost one cent each, packs run from 99 coins for $0.99 to 9,999 for $99.99, and a volume is bought once and kept in your library. A 499-coin pack at $4.99 buys $4.99 of manga with nothing to cancel. Files are DRM-protected LCP downloads for third-party readers such as Thorium Reader and FBReader. Ebooks and coin packs are not refundable. The store claims more than 76,000 licensed titles from publishers including Yen Press and Kodansha.

Explicit on the website, edited in the apps. Tappytoon labels its adult editions in two tiers: [Steamy] titles are partly censored, and [Uncut] titles are, in its words, unabridged and contain the full work. Both can only be viewed by confirmed adults, and neither is in the iOS or Android app, which carry all-ages and 16+ editions.

A Steamy episode we checked cost 300 points. At 3,900 points for $4.99 in the App Store that is about 38 cents. Club Standard costs $4.99 a month or $47.99 a year ($3.99 a month) and adds 4,400 points at the start of each monthly cycle. Free routes are first episodes, a Time Till Free episode every 24 hours on marked titles, and weekly Free Tickets that open a locked episode for 48 hours. Cancel through the store you subscribed in.

Explicit. Iron Circus Comics is an independent US publisher, and the product descriptions on its erotic books start with ADULTS ONLY. The store lists 38 products in its Erotica collection and 37 in NSFW. Every erotic book comes as a DRM-free PDF next to the print edition: Letters for Lucardo is $8.00 a volume as a PDF or $15.00 in softcover, and Yes, Roya is $10.00 or $15.00.

There is no subscription, no app and no reader: files arrive by email and you keep them. Iris and Angel issue one is a free PDF, with issues two to four at $5.00 each. The FAQ says no refunds and the refund page offers 30-day returns on physical items, so assume a PDF purchase is final. Nothing on the pages we checked is an age gate or a statement about character ages, though the books are labelled for adults. See the Iron Circus review for the rest.

Explicit on the website only, and ending. Tapas keeps a Mature section for premium titles behind a login and a self-declared birthdate, and describes it as a web-only feature for readers 18 and older. The apps and community uploads stay non-explicit. Mature and all-ages versions of a series are separate purchases, so unlocking one does not unlock the other.

On September 22, 2026, Kakao Entertainment announced that Tapas will end service on March 31, 2027 at 23:59 PT. The notice on tapas.io says Ink can no longer be acquired from October 1, 2026, leftover Ink works until the end, unlocked episodes become inaccessible when the service closes, and all Ink transactions are final. Free reading still works for now. Do not spend money here; the Tapas shutdown has the dates, and Tapas alternatives names where its Mature readers can go.

Explicit. Slipshine has published erotic webcomics since December 15, 2001, and says its archive holds more than 23,512 pages across over 100 series, with new pages every day. The members site costs $29.00 for the first 30 days and then $11.57 every 30 days, or $29.00 for one 30-day period that does not renew. It takes cards only, and cancelling goes through CCBill support or an email to Slipshine.

The age gate on the free site is a click-through, and the members area relies on the credit card. Slipshine states that every character in its comics is of legal age. A sampler and a few complete free comics, including The Rock Cocks, are open without paying.

Explicit, and set by each artist. itch.io's NSFW comics section lists 1,630 comics, behind a date-of-birth gate, with 218 free ones and sale prices from $1 to $8.99. Files are DRM-free, stay in your library and read offline. Creators choose their own revenue share, with a default of 10% to itch.io.

Payment is the soft spot. After processor pressure itch.io deindexed all adult pages in July 2025 and suspended Stripe for 18+ content; free adult pages came back within a week, and paid ones are listed again without a dated announcement. Explicit. FAKKU calls itself the largest English hentai manga publisher, and it is the only Japanese-licensed store on this list. Books and doujinshi are bought one at a time; FAKKU Unlimited opens the magazine catalogue, which it says holds over 10,000 chapters. A 30-day prepaid card costs $14.95 and a 365-day card $179.00, about $14.92 a month. One title a week is free.

Age confirmation is a checkbox at sign-up, and there is no iPhone app. Most releases are tagged Uncensored, with a few tagged Mosaics or Whiteout. Adult manga is a deeper subject than this page can hold, so the hentai manga list covers FAKKU against its rivals.
