The independent US publisher runs its own store with an Erotica collection of 38 products and an NSFW collection of 37 (both counts include bundles and a poster), plus the Smut Peddler anthologies. Every erotic book is marked "ADULTS ONLY" and ships internationally.
What erotic comics means
A porn comic can be a single scene. An erotic comic usually has a plot, characters who change and a length measured in volumes. The line is one of degree and some publishers sell both, so the label tells you where the weight sits.
Yes, Roya, by C. Spike Trotman and Emilee Denich, is a completed graphic novel set in 1963 California about an aspiring artist who becomes entangled with a cartoonist and his partner. Letters for Lucardo, by Otava Heikkilä, is a romance between a 61-year-old palace scribe and an aristocrat who has been 33 for centuries. Iris and Angel is a short erotic romance comedy. Three volumes of Letters for Lucardo are on sale of a planned four, so the PDFs come to $24 against $45 in softcover. Print gives you a shelf object and pays the publisher more per copy. The PDF is cheaper and stays on your device. Both come from the same store, with no subscription and no app. Iron Circus's own pages disagree on refunds: the FAQ says it does not offer cancellations, refunds or returns, while the refund page allows 30-day returns on physical items. Neither mentions PDFs, so treat a PDF as final.
Curvy reads free on its own site. The Complete Curvy is the remastered edition, so buying it pays for a finished book, and the creator also runs Curvy Scouts at $25 a year.
Filthy Figments
Filthy Figments takes the other route: a members archive of original erotic comics, published since June 1, 2010 by Strawberry Comics LLC. It claims 200+ titles, over 15,000 pages and 50+ creators, with 50+ new pages guaranteed each month. A month costs $12.99 and a year $99.95 (on sale from $156 at the time we checked). The yearly plan comes to $8.33 a month. The site's filter sorts by theme (BDSM, Fantasy, Humor, Mythology, Period Piece, Polyamory, Sci-Fi, Superhero, Supernatural) and by pairing, including F x F, M x M and trans pairings.
A pop-up asks whether you are at least 18, the free sampler needs no payment, and billing appears as "CCBILL*StrawberryC". To cancel, go to My Account, then Subscriptions, then View, then Cancel. Slipshine runs a larger and older archive, also by membership, described in porn comics.
GlobalComix and the edge of erotic
GlobalComix covers romance with an adult edge but refuses explicitly sexual stories; its FAQ says nudity is allowed when it is not in the context of sexual acts. Gold is $6.99 a month or $69 a year. It suits readers who want the romantic half of an erotic story with the sex off the page, and the adult-rated shelf is explained under adult comics. Sunstone, Stjepan Šejić's erotic romance between two women, is a similar middle case in print: Image lists the new edition's first volume at $9.99, 128 pages, Age Rating M.
The European tradition
The query often means the Franco-Belgian and Italian tradition of erotic bande dessinée, and in English that tradition is largely a print market. Fantagraphics keeps an Erotica collection of 24 products, including The Complete Crepax. Volume 7 of the series, Erotic Stories Part I, a 328-page hardback adapting Bataille and Arsan, was listed at $85.00. Dark Horse publishes Milo Manara in English: Manara Erotica Volume 1 is a $29.99 paperback of 292 pages marked age range 18+.
Digital options narrowed in 2025. Dark Horse announced on February 24, 2025 that its Digital service was ending, and new accounts stopped on March 31, 2025; the publisher now lists its digital editions at Amazon, Apple Books, Google Play Books, Barnes & Noble, Kobo and GlobalComix. NBM's Eurotica collection was empty on its Shopify store, and Tabou Éditions in France sells French-language print in euros. We have no platform files for these publishers, so prices above are list prices, not a ranking.
