Adult Action Webtoons and Manga

INKR's Action page shows what an action tab looks like when the store is built around manga, manhua and webtoons together. Chapters are free with ads, Ink earned from tasks rents others, and coins buy the rest at about $0.062 each (32 coins for $1.99, 80 for $4.99, 160 for $9.99 on iOS). INKR Extra, $4.99 a month on iOS, makes the crown-marked chapters free to read and unlocks downloads. INKR has a Mature shelf too, behind an 18+ click-through and a sign-in; how explicit that shelf gets is not published.

Action comics are driven by fights, chases and physical danger. Adult action webtoons are those stories sold in an edition rated 18+. The rating belongs to the edition, so one series can have an all-ages version in the store apps and a separate 18+ version on the web.

Where adult action webtoons are listed

The tab is not always called Action. Honeytoon's lives at /genres/adventure. Tapas splits it into Action and Action Fantasy tabs (the second is subtab 10). TOPTOON Plus shows Action as a tab on its Genres menu with no URL of its own. Lalatoon and Toomics, which are sister services, use the same genre id, 2474, for their ranking pages, and Lezhin runs it as a sub_tags=action filter. Tappytoon has no action URL, only filters on its Discover page.

BookWalker shows Action as a facet on collection pages. MangaPlaza's genre directory has an Action shelf that counts 729 titles; the site is web only and takes a self-declared 18+ toggle.

Four services list the genre without any explicit edition. WEBTOON allows mature-rated series with sexual themes and bans nudity and explicit sex. MangaToon, WebComics and Webnovel show no age check at all. Their action shelves are free to start.

What each one charges

Tappytoon Club is $4.99 a month or $47.99 a year, and its points work out to about $0.38-$0.43 for a 300-point episode. Lalatoon charges 3 clovers an episode, $0.29 to $0.48. Toomics VIP is $8.99 or $9.99 for one month (the App Store lists both) and $47.99 for a year; Store titles cost 1-3 coins each outside VIP. Lezhin has no subscription: episodes start at 20 coins and 240 coins cost $5.99, so $0.45-$0.50 an episode. Honeytoon shows 9 coins an episode, near 0.23-0.39 EUR depending on the pack. TOPTOON Plus is membership only, with its price behind an account.

The manga-side stores price by the coin. INKR does not publish a coin price per chapter, so the $0.062 rate is all that can be calculated. BookWalker and MangaPlaza both value one coin or point at $0.01, which makes a listing of 199 points equal to $1.99; MangaPlaza does not say whether that figure is a chapter or a volume. BookWalker stops auto-buy from the Series page or the Auto Buy List, and MangaPlaza Premium, $6.99 a month, can be cancelled only on the website.

The mainstream four publish plan prices and no per-chapter figure. WEBTOON Premium starts at $3.99 a month. MangaToon has a Monthly VIP at $4.99 and coins at 100 for $0.99 or 600 for $5.99. WebComics sells Premium at $5.99 a month or $69.99 a year. Webnovel's Elite Membership is $4.99 a month, with 50 coins for $0.99.

Free action

The first episodes are free on each service above. Tappytoon adds a Time Till Free episode every 24 hours on marked titles and weekly Free Tickets that last 48 hours. Lalatoon gives a Wait Till It's Free coupon 72 hours after you read an episode, except on the newest 20 episodes. Toomics gives three chapters, sometimes more. TOPTOON Plus requires a login for its free episodes. Tapas runs Wait Until Free timers in its app and has up to three ad-unlocked episodes a day, but it ends service on 2027-03-31 and has not sold Ink since 2026-10-01. The pages on free adult webtoons and wait-for-free give the full timers.

The four mainstream services, briefly

MangaToon unlocks chapters with weekly free comics, task points, vouchers and ad views, and the Monthly VIP is $4.99. WebComics offers early chapters on the web, daily free reads and giveaways in the app. Webnovel's comics side lists licensed manhua and manhwa, unlocked chapter by chapter with Coins or free Fast Passes, plus check-in rewards and vouchers. WEBTOON's Fast Pass takes coins that exist in the app only, and Ad Pass opens an episode for 3 days after ads.

All four have apps on iOS and Android, so they are the practical choice for reading action on a commute. None of them is a place to look for 18+ work.

Age gates and cancelling

Each adult service gates its 18+ editions differently. Tappytoon asks you to log in, confirm 18+ and then switch to mature mode. Lezhin needs a login before its mature switch works. Toomics asks for a self-declaration to leave Family Safe mode. Honeytoon asks a click-through 18+ question and adds a Yoti ID check where local law requires it. TOPTOON Plus shows a self-declaration prompt before the login. Tapas asks for a login and a birthdate on the web.

Cancelling depends on where you paid. Tappytoon Club ends through the store you subscribed in. Toomics VIP ends in Account Settings on the web or on the App Store or Google Play subscription page. Honeytoon asks for an email at least 24 hours before the period ends. TOPTOON Plus ends from Profile settings, or by email to cs_global@toptoon.com. Lezhin sells coins only, so there is nothing to cancel.

Phones and adult accounts

For action with an 18+ edition, plan on the browser. Tappytoon's [Steamy] and [Uncut] editions, Toomics' adult series, Tapas Mature and Honeytoon are not in the store apps, and Lezhin's R-rated titles are on its website and its Android-only PLUS APK. The apps carry all-ages or edited versions. INKR works differently: its app is where downloads happen, and its Mature shelf needs an account. The mobile guide covers reading adult comics on a phone.

Tapas gives Action Fantasy its own tab, and action also runs into sci-fi, thriller and horror. To compare the stores, use the adult webtoon platform list, Lezhin against Tappytoon and the adult manhwa overview. The genres hub has the rest.
