In short
- Horror and thriller share one tab on Tapas and TOPTOON Plus; INKR, Lalatoon, Toomics and Affect3D list horror on its own.
- Tapas closes on March 31, 2027, and its Mature section, where explicit premium comics sit, is on the web only.
- Affect3D is the one store here with a horror category and explicit work; it sells 3D comics, animations and games as downloads.
- Monster comics are a tag on Affect3D, Iron Circus, Irodori Comics and FAKKU, too few for a page of their own.
- WEBTOON, MangaToon, WebComics and Webnovel carry horror tabs but not explicit work.
Horror porn comics, and why the shelf is thin
Our research file defines horror comics as stories meant to frighten with monsters, the supernatural or violent dread. Add the adult label and the number of services that say so on a category page shrinks. Many of the places with a horror tab are mainstream webtoon readers, and the adult material on Korean services sits behind separate switches. We have category pages, not title lists, so this page cannot name specific horror series. It can say which doors exist and how each one opens.
Combined horror and thriller tabs
Tapas gives horror and thriller one tab, subtab 13 of its menu, labelled Thriller and Horror. Tapas closes on March 31, 2027, and Ink, its currency, stopped being sold on October 1, 2026; remaining Ink works until the end, unlocked episodes become unreadable afterward, and Ink is non-refundable. The explicit Mature section is limited to premium stories and exists only on the website, behind login and a birthdate form. The apps carry all-ages versions. Community uploads are free, and premium episodes open through Wait Until Free timers in the app, one episode per timer, readable for 72 hours.
TOPTOON Plus does the same on a Horror/Thriller tab. The service is a Korean adult-webtoon publisher's English website, membership only since coins were discontinued, with the first episodes of a series free after login. Explicit work is behind an NSFW switch that asks you to confirm you are 18, then needs an account. No app was found, and the file records no price. Cancel in profile settings or by email to the customer service address.
Both merged tabs count toward the horror list and the thriller list, so Tapas and TOPTOON Plus also appear on the thriller page.
Separate horror shelves
INKR is an app mixing manga, manhua, webtoons and indie studios, and its horror category sits beside Comedy, Romance and a gated Mature section (18+ click-through, then sign-in). We could not see what the Mature section contains, so we do not say it holds explicit horror. Reading is free with ads. INKR Extra costs $4.99 a month on iOS and unlocks offline downloads of anything you can access. GlobalComix acquired INKR in March 2026.
Lalatoon and Toomics both link horror to genre number 1441 on their ranking pages (Lalatoon, Toomics). Lalatoon charges 3 clovers an episode on the series we checked: a 25-clover pack is $3.99, so about 48 cents an episode, and the 500-clover pack at $47.99 brings it to about 29 cents. Toomics charges 1 to 3 coins a chapter, gives the first three chapters free (sometimes more), and sells a VIP subscription with a 12-month item at $47.99 on the App Store list. Its adult series are on the website only, and it has no offline reading.
Affect3D lists Horror in its categories menu, next to Fantasy, Sci-fi, Monster and Lesbian. It is a download store for 3D and AI-made adult comics, animations and games from about 200 artists, with no subscription. Free releases and trailers exist; paid items are bought one at a time and kept. No app exists, and no age gate appeared on the home page when we looked. The category page refused our scripted check, so the genre rests on the menu.
WEBTOON has a horror page, but its rules allow sexual themes only without nudity or explicit sex, and it also bans glorified sexual violence. MangaToon, WebComics and Webnovel are mainstream readers with horror tabs and no explicit content; their pages are MangaToon's, WebComics' and Webnovel's.

Monster comics, a section and not a page
Monsters are the nearest thing to a sub-genre in horror, and four services record a monster tag or category: Affect3D, Iron Circus, Irodori Comics and FAKKU. That is below the five-service bar for a page, so we keep it here. Affect3D lists Monster as a category. Iron Circus tags titles with monsters; Letters for Lucardo, a romance sold in volumes, is tagged monsters and paranormal, and the listing gives its leads' ages as 61 and 33. Each volume is $15 in softcover or $8 as a DRM-free PDF. Irodori Comics has a Monster Girl tag in its list of about 100, and FAKKU has the same tag in its index of about 220. Irodori sells uncensored, DRM-free PDFs, and FAKKU is a licensed hentai store.
Age gates on the horror shelves
Every explicit horror door here opens with a self-declaration. Tapas asks for a birthdate after login and sends you to a verify-age page. TOPTOON Plus asks "Are you over the age of 18?" and needs an account before the NSFW switch changes. Toomics asks the same question to leave Family Safe mode, and some countries (Singapore, Korea, Japan, Malaysia and Indonesia) are told to contact the service. INKR asks for an 18+ click-through before its Mature page, then a sign-in. Affect3D showed no gate at all on its home page. None of these is an ID check, so a household device that other people use is the real privacy question.

Stopping a subscription
The merged-tab services differ here. On Toomics you cancel VIP in account settings on the website, or on the App Store or Google Play subscription page if you bought it there. TOPTOON Plus cancels from profile settings or by email. INKR's public pages do not list steps for Extra, so use the store you bought it from. Tapas has no subscription to cancel, but with Ink off sale and the service closing, there is little reason to buy more of it now.
Free horror and how far it goes
Free horror is a trial at most. Tapas community series are free, INKR runs free titles with ads, TOPTOON Plus shows the first episodes after login, and Toomics and Lalatoon show the first chapters. Affect3D has a handful of free releases. The free adult webtoons page covers what each service lets you read without paying.
Mobile reading
INKR, Lalatoon, MangaToon, Tapas, Toomics, WebComics, Webnovel and WEBTOON have iOS and Android apps; Affect3D and TOPTOON Plus do not, as far as we could confirm. The Toomics and Tapas apps are the all-ages builds, so explicit horror there means a phone browser. Tapas and INKR Extra allow downloads; Toomics does not.
Related genres
Horror and thriller are the closest pair. Fantasy covers the monster and magic end, action the violent end, and sci-fi the shared Affect3D shelf. The full list is on the genres hub, and NSFW webtoons explains how the 18+ switches work.
