Adult webtoon sites

Adult webtoon sites charge in six ways: coins per episode (Lezhin, Lalatoon, Honeytoon), a VIP plan (Toomics, TOPTOON Plus), a membership plan (Manta, Tappytoon), wait-for-free timers, free reading paid by ads (WEBTOON), and creator-posted series (CANVAS, Tapas). For a 50-episode series the published prices put coin reading at roughly $14 to $25 on the dollar-priced sites, and a plan at one to four months of its fee.

In short

  • Coin sites sell a pack and spend it per episode: Lezhin at 20 coins an episode (about $0.50), Lalatoon at 3 clovers ($0.29 to $0.48), Honeytoon at 9 coins.
  • Toomics sells a VIP plan, TOPTOON Plus a membership with no public price, and Manta and Tappytoon a library or club plus coins on the side.
  • Wait-for-free timers run 24 to 72 hours per episode, so a 50-episode series takes weeks to finish for nothing.
  • WEBTOON is free with ads and Tapas has creator-posted series, but neither sells explicit episodes.

Most of the money in adult webtoons moves through a handful of designs, and the sticker price on a coin pack tells you little until you divide it by the cost of one episode. This page sorts the services by how they charge and works the arithmetic for a 50-episode series where the research files publish enough numbers. It does not rank them. The ranked version is our best adult webtoon platforms list, and the app side of the question sits on adult webtoon apps.

The models overlap, and the parent page on adult webtoons lists the services themselves. Honeytoon sells coins and a subscription at once, Manta runs a membership and a Gem shop, and Tappytoon layers a club on top of points. Treat the table as the main way each service earns, not an exclusive label.

Coin per episode

Lezhin prices by the series. Its tag list shows 20, 25, 30, 40 and "50 and up" coin episodes, and the one series checked in detail charged 20 coins. The US App Store pack of 400 coins plus 45 bonus coins costs $9.99, which is about $0.025 a coin and so about $0.50 for a 20-coin episode, or $0.45 counting the bonus. Lalatoon charges 3 clovers an episode on every series checked and publishes its web packs: 25 clovers for $3.99 down to 500 for $47.99, which makes an episode $0.48 on the smallest pack and $0.29 on the largest. Honeytoon charged 9 coins on each locked episode checked. Its two visible packs from an EU address were 700 coins for EUR 29.99 and 2,000 for EUR 49.99, about EUR 0.39 and EUR 0.22 an episode.

Coin sites give away the opening episodes. Lezhin's rankings show labels such as "5 Eps free", and Honeytoon opened a prologue and three episodes on the series checked. Coins bought in a store app and on the web are not always one wallet. Lalatoon says its web and app coins cannot be combined.

VIP, membership and library plans

Toomics is the VIP service. The plan gives unlimited access to our available webtoons without purchasing Coins, removes ads and adds 5 gift coins a month. The TOOMICS STORE shelf is excluded and costs coins, 1 to 3 per chapter, with no published dollar rate. The US App Store lists a 1 Month plan at both $8.99 and $9.99, 3 Months at $17.49 and $23.99, 6 Months at $29.49 and 12 Months at $47.99, and Toomics does not say which listing is current. VIP renews automatically every month. TOPTOON Plus describes its membership as unlimited access to its exclusive series, billed monthly, every three months or every six; the price sits behind a login.

Manta's Standard membership is $4.99 a month for an Unlimited Library of 300+ series, plus extra Gems on every bundle. Premium is $9.99 in the app or $8.99 on the web and includes 1,420 Gems a month. Gems still pay for anything outside the library: since March 31, 2026 episodes cost 30 to 60 Gems, with Manta's own examples at 40 and 50, and the $9.99 bundle buys 1,250. Tappytoon Club Standard is $4.99 a month or $47.99 a year for 4,400 points on the first day of each cycle, 30 bonus points a day and a faster free timer.

Wait for free

Wait-for-free trades time for money. Tappytoon's Time Till Free releases one episode of a marked series every 24 hours, or every 12 hours for Club Standard members, and the episode locks again afterward. Lalatoon gives one coupon 72 hours after you read an episode on eligible series, and the coupon does not apply to the latest 20 episodes. Manta's Free Pass opens one episode for 72 hours and resets after 24. Tapas lets a reader unlock one episode per series each time a timer completes, readable for 72 hours, in its app only; the glossary entry on wait for free explains where the idea comes from.

The arithmetic is plain. A 50-episode series on Tappytoon's 24-hour timer takes 50 days, or 25 days on the 12-hour club timer. On Manta it takes 50 days. On Lalatoon only the first 30 episodes of a 50-episode run are eligible, and at one per 72 hours that is 90 days, with the last 20 left to buy. Nobody pays, and nobody binges.

Tappytoon support article on how Time Till Free works

Free with ads, and creator-posted

WEBTOON publishes its Originals on a weekly free schedule, puts the newest episodes behind coins in the app, and lets an ad unlock an episode for 3 days. It bans nudity and explicit sex, so this model exists for mature-rated work and not for the explicit side. Tapas runs ad-unlocked timer episodes too, up to three a day, and a community shelf of free series, while its explicit Premium shelf is web only and closes with the service on March 31, 2027. Creators on both sites earn from ads and tips; the creator side is covered in our guide for NSFW webtoon creators.

What a 50-episode series costs

The totals below use only the prices above, and each assumes you pay for every episode. Opening episodes that are free would lower them.

ServicePer-episode rate50 episodes
Lezhin, 20-coin seriesabout $0.50about $25 (1,000 coins), $22.50 counting the bonus coins
Lalatoon$0.29 to $0.48150 clovers, $14.40 to $23.94
Manta40 to 50 Gems2,000 to 2,500 Gems, about $16 to $20 on the $9.99 and $19.99 bundles
Tappytoon300 points, $0.35 to $0.4315,000 points, $17.50 to $21.50
Honeytoon9 coins, EUR 0.22 to 0.39450 coins, EUR 11.25 to 19.28
Toomics VIPincluded, if not a Store titleone month at $8.99 or $9.99 if you finish within it
TOPTOON Plusincluded in membershipprice not public
WEBTOON, Tapasset per seriesno dollar figure public (Tapas listed 450 Ink an episode in 2023)

Plans change the sum. Tappytoon's 15,000 points would take four months of Club Standard's 4,400 points a month, $19.96, or three months, $14.97, if the 30 daily bonus points are collected on top. A Manta Standard membership could cover the whole series for $4.99 if the series is in the Unlimited Library, and nothing in our files says which titles are. Toomics VIP is $8.99 or $9.99 for a month, so it beats the coin sites only when the series is read inside a month or two and is not a Store title.

Cancelling a plan is a separate chore, and how comic subscriptions work and how pay-per-chapter platforms work cover the mechanics. Subscription against pay per chapter sets the two models side by side, and the pricing pillar carries the plan tables for every service.

FAQ

Which adult webtoon sites use coins?

Lezhin, Lalatoon and Honeytoon charge coins per episode. Toomics, Manta and Tappytoon use coins or points for some series alongside a plan.

Is a VIP plan cheaper than coins?

For a long series read quickly, yes. Toomics VIP lists at $8.99 or $9.99 a month, against about $14 to $25 in coins for 50 episodes elsewhere. The VIP plan does not cover the TOOMICS STORE shelf.

How long does wait-for-free take?

One episode per timer: 24 hours on Tappytoon and Manta, 72 hours on Lalatoon and Tapas. A 50-episode series is 50 days on a 24-hour timer.

Are adult webtoons ever free?

The first episodes of most series are free, and wait-for-free timers unlock the rest slowly. WEBTOON is free on a weekly schedule but bans explicit sex.

Why is there no per-episode price for some sites?

TOPTOON Plus, WEBTOON and Tapas show prices only after login or in the app, and Toomics gives coins per chapter without a dollar rate.
