The wider cast is introduced by what the characters do for a living: Gary the "comics artist", Yuki "his scriptwriter", Amber the "Ex-porn star", and "mutual therapists Kiley and Matt".
The team box on the comic page credits Gisèle Lagacé as creator, co-writer and artist, David Lumsdon as co-writer, and T Campbell as editor. Lagacé and Lumsdon founded Pixie Trix Comix in 2008, and the portal is part of Hiveworks. The creators shorten the title to Ma3.
