What Oglaf is
A fantasy sex comedy in strip form. Most installments are stand-alone gags set in a sword-and-sorcery world, with the odd short storyline, and they are published on the creators' own site. The site's RSS feed sums the comic up as Comics. Often dirty.
The official pages credit it to "Trudy & Doug". That is the name at the top of the Patreon page, and posts there are signed "Trudy and Doug". Oglaf.com prints no creator names of its own, has no cast page, and gives no start year. Its archive is a long list of strip titles with no dates and no count, so how many strips exist is not something the site tells you.

How explicit Oglaf is
It is an adults-only comic, and both the site and the shop say so. Before any strip loads, oglaf.com asks "Are you an Adult?" and offers a single button, "I am over 18". The click sets a cookie. There is no account and no ID check behind it.
The book listing on TopatoCo is headed "Oglaf Books! (Adults Only!)" and carries its own line at the cart: BY ADDING THIS PRODUCT(S) TO YOUR CART YOU AGREE THAT YOU'RE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE
. Nothing on the home page, the archive, the feed, the shop listing or the Patreon page frames any character as under 18.
Where to read Oglaf free
The official place is oglaf.com, and the newest strip is on its front page. The Oglaf archive lists every earlier strip by title. Most strips stand alone, so there is no need to start at the beginning.
Updates are weekly, on Sundays. The RSS feed lists "Spangles" (November 1) and "Easy Answers" (October 25) as the two most recent strips. A feed reader will pick up each new strip as it lands.
Oglaf books in print and PDF
The Store link in the site's menu goes to TopatoCo, which sells the first four collections. Prices on the TopatoCo Oglaf books page:
| What | ||
|---|---|---|
| Any one of Books 1 to 4 | $24.00 | $13.00 |
| All four books | $94.00 | $25.00 |
The PDF set is the obvious buy for anyone who reads on a screen. Four PDFs bought one at a time come to $52.00; the set costs $25.00, less than two single PDFs. The print set saves much less: four books at $24.00 would be $96.00, so the $94.00 bundle takes two dollars off.
Oglaf Book Five
Book Five went to Kickstarter through TopatoCo instead of straight to the shop. The campaign was funded on October 23, 2026. A $10 pledge gets the PDF of Oglaf 5 and $26 gets the printed book. TopatoCo's shipping estimate is "by February 2027".

Similar NSFW webcomics
Two titles we cover sit closest to Oglaf's mix of fantasy and sex jokes. The Cummoner, the main comic on totempole666.com, is a free fantasy erotic comedy about a witch called Vilga, with paid chapters on the side. Curvy is a finished dimension-hopping saga, free on its own site, with a complete edition from Iron Circus Comics. Readers who want comedy without the fantasy setting can try The Rock Cocks, a free erotic road comedy about a punk duo that has run since 2014.
